This 2 days workshop is a completion of the Practitioner training.

The latest developments in the Peter Hess Institute caused changes to the sound massage training length and structure. From now on, to achieve the Practitioner certificate, each trainee must complete the Final seminar with Supervision.

Teaching: Alex Andrzejewski and Janusz Urzykowski

Prerequisite: Level IV, documentation of 10 practice sound massages and three educational sound massages (submitted 14 days prior), all your questions and queries resulting from practice of sound massage.

What to expect:

Day 1
  • Q&A – case studies
  • Case based assessment
  • How to start/run a sound massage practice
  • Working with groups, concerts, lectures/workshops
  • Sound journey for relaxation and integration of the learning
Day 2
  • Sound meditations for relaxation and integration of the learning
  • Exchange of experiences and reflection
  • Application possibilities, limitations and contraindications

Price includes Practitioner Certificate, Practitioner Pack, morning and afternoon tea, training equipment for duration of the course. Meals and accommodation are not included.

Equipment: Peter Hess singing bowls, gongs and other instruments are provided for the training needs. All are available for purchase after the course.

KliK®3 – Inspiring Children with Language and Sound

In this two day, second in the KLIK series, seminar you will learn how to help children develop their communication and conflict solving skills. The basic features of educational Sound communication, tailored to the language of children, are conveyed in conjunction with the resonance-generating effect of the Singing Bowls’ sounds.

Strengthen the healthy, rather than eliminate deficits

The combination of sound and language takes the focus away from the problem and on to the solution and motivates children to look for solutions to their problems or difficult situations. This also helps you to recognise and strengthen the individual resources of a child and their family environment more quickly. The learned sound methods support this process and also offer support through nonverbal and verbal communication and expressiveness. This can also playfully contribute to overcoming cultural or intellectual differences and to the expansion of social skills.

In order to understand the world, above all we must be able to experience it with all our senses. That is the essence of our humanity!

As children learn more and more through screen use from televisions, computers, ipads and the like, holistic experiences have become rare, but these holistic experiences are the basis of a healthy childhood.

Children need versatile sensory experiences to train the brain’s processing. With the Singing Bowls we will touch and stimulate all senses.

for children from 3 to 5 years old and beyond

A workshop for educators, teachers, parents, grandparents and anyone who wants to use Singing Bowls with children.

Prerequisite: none

Scope: 6 hours

Cost: $220

Singing Bowls stimulate all senses. They shine with a golden glow, and if you touch them with your fingertips or activate them with a mallet they emit varied and complex sounds. This sets both an acoustic and vibrotactile stimulus which simultaneously activates the auditory and somatosensory perception –  hearing and touch. The sound fosters body awareness and touches it in an emotionally soothing way.

In this workshop you will learn different sound games with Singing Bowls, which are wonderful to play with children.

The games:

  • Train the sensory perception, which is the central basis for communication and learning
  • Promote coarse and fine motor skills
  • Motivate the children and thereby strengthen their concentration and endurance
  • Stimulate the imagination and thus promote creativity as an important basis for solution competence
  • Strengthen the social and communication skills of children
